Unaccompanied Minors

According to the regulations of the government of Philippines, passengers under 15 years of age
unaccompanied by a parent is not allowed to enter the country alone. Please check the following and contact the Philippine Embassy for details.

Accompanied by Father(OR Mother) only
No other documents are required if the last names of the father(or mother) and the child in English on the passport are the same.
1 copy of resident registration is required if the last names of the father(or mother) and the child in English on the passport are different.

※ The last name of the father(or mother) and the last name of the child on the passport in English must match those on the resident registration in English.

Accompanied by a Guide (Guide : Adult at the age of 18 or older)

  1. 1. Parental consent in English.

  2. 2. Have document notarized by
    a notary lawyer or at a notary office.

  3. 3. Take the document to the Department of the Diplomatic and Trade and get the confirmation of the Apostille Agreement.

    ※ By 14 May 2019, Apostille will affix to documents for use abroad as proof of Authentication in Apostille-contracting parties.
    Please contact to Apostille of the Department of the Diplomatic and Trad.

Documents required when accompanied by a guide

  • Parental consent approved by authentication of Apostille

  • 1 copy of resident registration in English

    ※ Spelling of name in English on the passport and that on the resident registration in English must be the same.

    ※ Only the documents issued by Community service center are applicable. The documents issued on the Internet are not applicable.

    ※ ivorced family, one-parent family and family who different the address of parents and children must be submitted the family certificate to notarized by a notary office or a notary lawyer instead of the resident registration.

  • 1 copy of passport of father or mother who filled out the child, guardian, consent form

  • Entry Fee PHP 3,120 (USD 85)

    ※ Keep receipt until you return.

  • Return Ticket

When entering Korea from the Philippine

  • Passengers over the age of 12 can travel by themselves.
  • Passengers between the ages of 8 and 12 can request for UM Service through a local Philippine Airlines Office when traveling to Korea.
  • Visit local ticket office with a guardian at least 1 week before departure and request for the service.
  • Service Charge: Approximately KRW 65,000 (Fees will not be refunded after the request is made)There may be additional cost on top of the service charges. For exact costs, please check with the local ticket office.

    Regulations and service fees are subject to change without notice.

  • Entry Fee : PHP 3,120 Please keep the receipt after paying the fee. You will need it when leaving the Philippines.
  • Passenger shall be charged 100% of the fare.
